The Arcanys Early Learning Foundation (AELF) in the Philippines will be conducting a research study from this April in partnership with the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, Switzerland, to assess the effectiveness of its online math program during Covid times.
A pioneer in early childhood education in Cebu, the Arcanys Early Learning Foundation provides free math coaching to children from 3 to 5 years with the active participation of their parents. The AELF is looking for 200 families living on Cebu island, meeting the following criteria, and ready to join the 3-month online program that will include at least 30 free private 1-on-1 sessions with an early education teacher:
- a family living on Cebu island with a child from 3 to 5 years old
- with a reliable internet connection in order to handle video calls
- ready to join the free online math program from April 2021 onwards
