Professor John Higgins, an internationally renowned obstetrician/gynaecologist, warns that women putting work before motherhood may face serious fertility problems when the time came. He advises female professionals to give priority to their family in order to have children while they are still young. Of course, solutions need to be found in the workplace to fulfill this goal. What remains easier to say than to do.
